Autumn

Leaves plunge to the ground like a tornado. The cold breeze blows the leves across the ground. Acorns smash down on to the ground. Trees are slowly becoming bare. Birds swoop down and land on the branch's.

Autumn

It's colourful and peaceful it's cold and noisy it's flat with trees. Leafs falling slowly and silently. One by one trees begin to look bare, like the dead.
I can see my breath likes team. It's colder everyday and wetter. The clouds get darker with rain. I better hurry before it begins.
The mountains get a white blanket over their tops.
I can see smoke from every chimney disappearing as there's a battle going on.
The wind pushes me into a hole of darkness, neverending.

Autumn

Leaves bail off trees like their in the Air Force.leaves create colourful patterns on the floor.  Walnuts plummet like nuclear warheads, as the rain splatters all over the wet, green grass. Birds glide silently like their on a stealth mission to attack and kidnap worms and leaves crunch under people's feet. The shade sail dances like a crazy psycho at amazing party. Puddles splash as kids run through them. Pitch white snow crumbles down the hills torwards us so we get winter early. But Autumn is here, enjoy. Cause it only comes once a year.    By Bryan

Goodbye winter!

Goodbye my good friend, next time I see you, you will be older. I will miss jumping on the skateboard with no wheels or trucks and sliding down the neighbours hill, even though I always fall off. Bro, your the best, the only time you haven't been my friend, is the time I made a bike jump out of you and you collapsed when my front wheel hit you and I went flying over the handlebars and faceplanted into you. Goodbye my good friend winter.

Autumn

Autumn leaves flutter like flags, leaves are beating hard against the freezing air as I avoid the wind. I hear the crispy leaves crunch as I walk the fresh air and leaves tumble around, I see the last colours on the trees. The frost creeps up more getting ready for winter.
Now autumn is here.πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚

Autumn

Autumn leaves fly, dance through steps in the sky. People and birds can smell a sort of forest smell, and can hear a gentle Breeze flowing past them. Gentle drops of rain fall on people's heads, and birds wings. Worms come up searching for air. The old wagon sits there covered in leaves, that have just fallen. By Nova

Autumn

πŸƒπŸ‚πŸ
The wind whistles through the trees. Leaves fall spinning and turning to the ground colours like the Suns flames children chase them. And throughing high in the air like a pack of cards falling to the ground.

This week

This week we had must do's to do I completed all of them it was a good week.😏❗️

Autumn

The rain splatters on to the green grass and makes pattering sounds on the roof as the colourful leaves flutter to the ground. The wind gentley pushes against the flax leaves making them shake as the wind makes the dry leaves rustle as if they are whispering to each other.

Fog smothers the mountains as they stand still making it look like the background of a picture. Birds cover the steps of Grandview talking to each other there voices sounding muffled as it carries on in the wind. Walnuts crash to the ground for they can not hang on any longer. Dry dirt leaves cracks in the ground for insects to burrow there way into as the shade sail dances up and down making a safety net to catch the rain in.

Autumn

The cold forces its way though my jumper and goosebumps appear on my arms. The cluster of clouds lets loose a berst of rain, hitting my face with small gentle strokes. Leaves fall like confetti crunching under foot. Wind whips my hair into face preventing my site, the Anzac flag weakly trys to get attention from the watching world.

Autumn Writing

Leaves hurtle towards the ground like jet planes being shot down. The wind smacks my face like I have been a bad boy. Rain shoots the mud like machine guns shooting at enemies. Puddles form on the ground like they have grown there, that tells me that autumn is here. By Finn

Autumn

As rain spits down on my face like ice cream melting from the sun I shiver like a toy being shaken just for fun. Leafs falling to the ground like a merry round. Wind pushs me one way and another making me annoyed. Brown leafs falling of bare trees. AUTUMN.

Autumn

Huge whalnuts plummit to the ground with no resistance. Leaves spiral down and accumulate on the ground. Rain spits down like metal on the battered wagon. Birds lay lifeless on the cold stones. Planes fly high above the wind and rain. The shade sail flaps like a crazy bird.

Autumn

The breeze hits my face as I run through the field.
The leaves are buried as the sun goes down.
Walnuts smash to the ground as birds go home.
Leaves are like a tornado as they swirl up in the air.
The rock stays still as the winter breeze blows.
The oak trees naked branchs sway in the wind.
The mist rises of the shad sail as the morning comes.

Autumn

Jack Frost, towers over us, waiting, patiently for the perfect time, to send chills down our spine. The evergreens stand tall looking at the pesky deciduous. Leaves make a flowing carpet, fit for a queen. The reflections cluster in a small delicate puddle. The spit starts then grows into the icy water. Clouds cluster blocking the sun from view.  Dew drops hang on tight until the wind starts to spray it's invisible frost. The chills creep down the mountain side.

Autumn writing

This is my Autumn writing

Autumn was here along with the leaves and the wind if you stand up amongst this you will discover much more. Leaves tumble and twist as a fears wind whirls them around breaking them clear a way fr om the trees branches. Suddenly there is no space left on the ground clear of leaves. If you stand up amongst this the wind stings at your face, plays with your hair and pushes you around. If you look at the sky you will see no trace of sun but only gray cloud clustered together trying desperately to escape the wind.
All this is happening now.

Autumn war

Birds fly past dropping walnut bombs everywhere.
Leaf troopers duck into the cracks of dirt for cover while rainbows send signals to warn them.
Pine cones take there place on the field to be used as cannons.
Mountains get covered in white gas while the cold air rushes to attack the land...
Then the war is over they go and take there place's on the field again.

M & M Science

On Friday we used M&M's to further investigate density. We dropped four into a bowl of water and explored the different properties of what makes up an M&M and how dense each of the components are. We noticed the following changes:
  • That the colours were slowly fading and the water was slowly taking the colour out of the M&M's. It was then mixing together.
  • The colours spread out towards the other colours.
  • That when you dropped the M&M's the colours came off them.
  • The water faded the chocolates colours. The M&M's sunk with the colour. Some of the chocolates floated.

Traffic lights

Last week we experimented with trying to find out how to make a traffic light drink. We had four different coloured solutions and a straw. Our aim was to find the right combination so that the colours stacked on top of each other in the straw.
