Year 5 camp
On Thursday the year 5s went to Cromwell for camp. We learnt how to sail and how you would drop off a bank into a river. After we set up tents we played for a while then we had dinner. After dinner we did a team challenge which was the egg drop there were a few teams that made it through. Awhile later we had a hot chocolate and a circle time on what we achieved and a goal for the next day.
On Friday we had breakfast and then we left to the gold field mining centre and learnt about the gold rush and when it started. About one hour later we left to the swimming pool to have fun and to swim. We all went out side and the had some speeches to the adults thanking them for helping us.
